Villa Pilar is privately owned by Eileen & Graham, who live in Crystal Palace, near London

We try to be flexible;  most people wish to avoid arriving on a weekend due to the higher airfares

Do I need a car?

A car is useful but not essential. It is easy to get from Malaga airport to the villa by taxi (€40). There are local restaurants and shops in walking distance. There is a bus service about every 20 minutes to Fuengirola from the roundabout at El Coto, which takes about 10 minutes. A local taxi to the centre of Fuengirola is about €8; there is a taxi rank at El Coto, so they come fairly promptly.

Supermarkets, such as Carrefour, will deliver same day free of charge if you spend more than €65.
